The Lebanese Minister of Culture, Judge Muhammad Wissam Al-Murtada, discussed with the Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdel Karim today the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, Syria and Lebanon.
During the talks, the two sides agreed that the challenge of raising awareness about the conspiracies is among the major challenges facing Syria and Lebanon, as well as reviving the culture of acceptance of the other, the richness of diversity and tolerance, and striving to build a better future that reflects the sophistication of the Syrian and Lebanese civilizational and human heritage.
The talks also touched upon what was mentioned in the Lebanese National Accord Document on the distinguished relations that bind the two countries and peoples, presenting the bonds of connection historically and civilly, social fabric, customs and traditions.
Talks took place between the Lebanese Minister of Transport and Public Works, Dr. Ali Himiya, and Ambassador Abdel Karim last Friday on bilateral cooperation in the field of transport, in addition to issues that impose integration between the two countries.
