The list of selected candidates has just been unveiled on Monday by the organizers in a press release.
In total, "more than 130,000 people registered on the Popular Primary platform" and voted to bring out five men and five women.
At the time of its launch, the organizers said they expected at least 300,000 voters.

Among the names proposed at the close of sponsorship, personalities already declared in the presidential election - Jean-Luc Mélenchon, Yannick Jadot, Anne Hidalgo, or the founder of Nouvelle Donne Pierre Larrouturou -, as well as officials who have nevertheless indicated do not wish to be a candidate, like Christiane Taubira.
The latter came first in the vote, with just over a quarter of the sponsorships obtained.
A vote scheduled for early December
Among the other personalities are the former head of the LFI regional list in Ile-de-France Clémentine Autain, the LFI deputy François Ruffin, the deputy to the socialist mayor of Rennes Charlotte Marchandise, the co-founder of the platform @NotrMaisonbrule Anna Agueb-Porterie and economist Gaël Giraud.
The five women and five men at the top of the sponsorships have until November 30 to announce whether or not they wish to participate in the “Popular Primary”.
The “Popular Primary” is the culmination of a work initiated by the Rencontre des justices, a collective aiming to link the aspirations of civil society and left-wing parties.
Since July 11, this “Popular Primary” has carried out a vast national consultation with the aim of “bringing to an end a process of designation by the citizens of a common candidacy in the first round of the presidential election of 2022. ".
Those enrolled in the primary will have to vote among these ten candidates between December 9 and 12, in order to designate a potential single candidate of the left forces for the 2022 presidential election.
