The director of the Hamburg Thalia Theater, Joachim Lux, received the Baltic Star International Award in Russia on Monday.
This was announced by the Baltic House in St. Petersburg and the Thalia Theater in the evening.
The singer Anne Veski (Estonia) and the director Kama Ginkas (Russia) were also honored in St. Petersburg.

Petersburg - Lux was honored for special services to the development and consolidation of humanitarian relations in the Baltic region, as the Thalia Theater further announced.
Alongside Heinrich Böll, who was posthumously honored with the award, he was the first German in this series.
The previous winners include director Ingmar Bergman (Sweden), violinist Gidon Kremer (Latvia) and writer Lev Kopelew (Russia).
