(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 11 - The # Erasmusdays, the initiative that involves the whole community of the Erasmus + Program, are back from 14 to 16 October.

An event spread all over the world and open to schools, universities, institutes, training institutions and centers for adult education and youth.

The initiative is in its 5th edition and promises to be even more participatory than in 2020, at the moment there are over 4,000 events scheduled in 82 countries around the world, a number destined to grow further.

This year's edition is particularly significant because it coincides with the launch of the new Erasmus + 2021/2027 Program. This is an event promoted by all the national Erasmus + Agencies Indire, Inapp and Ang with the patronage of the European Commission, in particular Mariya Gabriel, EU Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth. The Italian eTwinning and Epale Units also participate in Erasmusdays.

The 2021 edition and the events focus on the key themes of the Erasmus + 2021-2027 program: social inclusion, environmental protection, digital transformation and participation in democratic life.

Also in this edition there are many subjects involved, such as schools, universities, adult education centers, training institutes, research centers but also private companies, sports associations, employment centers, NGOs, youth associations, organizations, volunteer centers, youth workers and also organizations active within the European Solidarity Corps Program. Italy is preparing to celebrate #Erasmusdays with about 300 events including conferences, round tables, sporting events, games and online meetings between project partner institutes, webinars, live shows and stories on social channels, open days, stories of experiences and photographic exhibitions.
