A tractor with a trailer has allegedly made itself independent in the Minden-Lübbecke district and caused serious injuries to its driver.
According to previous knowledge, the 58-year-old parked the heavy vehicle on a slightly sloping track on Friday and left the driver's cab, the police said on Monday.
Shortly afterwards, the team rolled down the street for reasons that were not yet clear.
Stemwede - The odyssey ended on the hedge of a residential building that was flattened.
The driver apparently noticed the fateful event and was still trying to prevent the accident, the police reported.
He had seriously injured his hand.
