Magdeburg - After the ruling by the Federal Constitutional Court on the broadcasting fee, the leaders of the CDU and CSU parliamentary groups have spoken out in favor of a “certain contribution stability” for citizens and the relief of medium-sized companies.
That said the Bavarian CSU parliamentary group leader Thomas Kreuzer on Monday after the parliamentary group chairman conference of the Union in Magdeburg.
“We stand by public broadcasting.
But we don't want the broadcasting fees to rise constantly, ”emphasized Kreuzer, who is currently chairman of the conference.
The group leaders also agreed on the state of the automotive industry and the difficult situation in the Union.
A moderate radio contribution is also in the interests of the broadcasters, as otherwise the acceptance of the population would be lost, said the CSU politician.
At the same time, the Union wants to relieve small and medium-sized companies with the broadcasting fee: "There is a certain need for action here." In terms of financing, Kreuzer referred to the Broadcasting Structure Commission.
It is assumed that this will come to "corresponding results".
