As reported, the fire brigade found a burning body in the pavilion of the Nesselwang spa park on the night of September 25th to 26th. Since both the identity of the person and the circumstances of the death were initially completely unclear, the police and public prosecutor's office first investigated in all directions.
According to the investigators' findings so far, the man left the apartment shortly after midnight and did not show up again. His roommate didn't report him missing until days later.
A DNA comparison in the forensic medicine institute of the University of Ulm finally confirmed the identity of the deceased. The relatives could only be informed of the death during the past weekend. According to previous knowledge, the deceased had probably had psychological problems for a long time.
According to the current state of the investigation, there are no indications of a crime.
