Finally a party again: The Freising night café reopened on Friday.

Except for a few incidents, the premiere went off without a hitch.

Freising

- The first guests arrived an hour before the doors opened and the onslaught didn't stop for a long time: When on Friday, for the first time in almost 20 months, music came through the Freising night café, they all wanted to be there.

Operator Max Riemensperger and his team had their hands full - and are now overjoyed that the restart went so well.

(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

"It was great, I'm more than satisfied," said Riemensperger on Sunday.

In the beginning, both staff and guests would have needed a bit to acclimatize after the long corona break.

"After an hour, however, everyone was back in the fairway and celebrated as before."

Enormous rush: "It was really bangy"

The rush was enormous: "It was really packed." In order to cope with the rush and to keep the waiting times as short as possible, the night café now offers the opportunity to register online in advance.

Many would have used this offer on Friday and Saturday.

"A few of them celebrated so much on the first day that they had to take a break on Saturday," reports the night café operator and laughs.

"Doesn't matter, there were places available for others."

In order to be able to dance to hip-hop, charts and house by DJ Skillah, the guests first had to go through the admission control: only those who have been vaccinated, recovered or PCR-tested are allowed access.

In return, the distance rule and mask requirement do not apply.

“Our control system worked really well,” reports Riemensperger.

Club opens after a forced Corona break: For some it was the first visit

For some of the revelers, it was the very first disco visit on Friday: Teresa, Jeanette, Aurélia, Yannick, Laura and Nadja are among them.

They all turned 18 this year and were able to officially celebrate for the first time on Friday evening.

"Today we celebrate and enjoy the night," was the group's tenor.

Guest (22) wants to go to the club with a false vaccination certificate

On the fringes of the party, however, there was also an incident in which the police had to intervene: On Sunday, a Freinger (22) tried to get to the night café around 1:40 a.m. with a vaccination certificate that was not issued for him. During the control it was noticed, the security staff rejected the man. However, he did not give up and tried to climb over the fence onto the site. The security staff held him and called the police. When a patrol arrived, the 22-year-old no longer wanted to show the false vaccination certificate, according to the police, which is why his cell phone had to be confiscated as evidence. The man did not agree with this and insulted the officers massively. "In addition, he became so quick-tempered that he was finally handcuffed until the police measures were over,"it says in the report of the officials. A test showed a value of 0.9 per mille. The Freising has to answer because of the improperly used vaccination certificate, trespassing and insulting.

Corona rules in the club: Some try expired PCR tests

Riemensperger has no sympathy for such actions: “Something like that doesn't work.” A few visitors would have tried it with expired PCR tests, and of course the security staff reacted promptly.

"Anyone who doesn't understand what it's about is out of place with us anyway."

Apart from these incidents, Riemensperger would like to pay “a huge compliment” to all visitors.

“Everyone celebrated really well.” What he is most pleased about: “I saw so many happy faces.

Young and old celebrated together - the party was sensational, ”says Riemensperger.

Now he has only one wish: "Of course I hope that it can continue like this."
