The crisis that education is going through imposes a national leap, what I call the “educational nation” project.
School is the fabric of France, through the transmission of our knowledge and our history.
For years, the level has been falling, inequalities have widened and we are experiencing a dramatic breakdown in teachers' vocations for the future.
We are becoming a society of social immobility.
It is not France that I want.
My France gives every child a chance, thanks to school and through work.
How do we do it?
The absolute priority is to put the fundamentals back at the heart of the school.
According to the Pisa surveys, France has one of the lowest levels of mathematics in the OECD.
Almost 20% of an age group do not have sufficient mastery
