On Saturday, a 28-year-old man was shot dead in the village of Ilut in the Lower Galilee, two months after his wedding.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Salati was standing in one of the houses in the center of the village and was hit by a bullet fired during a conflict between two families.

"May Allah curse the one who killed an innocent soul," his wife's brother was furious in a Facebook post.

The young man graduated in civil engineering from Jordan, and then started working for a family company.

In 2021, 102 people from Arab society were murdered, of which only 22 cases were solved.

September was the bloodiest with 17 murders, and in October four have been recorded so far.
