Oberallgäu - Corona tests have been subject to a charge since October 11th.
But there are exceptions.
In the two communal test centers set up in Sonthofen and Kempten, free tests will continue to be offered - but only for a very limited group of people.
Disease-specific symptoms
: "If you have symptoms, go to the doctor and have yourself tested, you will not have to pay for these tests yourself in the future," said Health Minister Holetschek.
Tests are still free of charge for
contact persons of
a person infected with corona or persons who have received a warning from the Corona warning app.
The “
free test
” for people who are in quarantine with a corona infection remains free.
If the
self-test
at home is
positive
, you are entitled to a PCR test.
People who can
not be vaccinated
for
medical reasons
continue to receive free corona tests (medical certificate required).
Tests remain free of charge
for
children under the age of 12
, as the Standing Vaccination Commission (Stiko) has not yet issued a vaccination recommendation for them.
For
13 to 17 year olds
, tests remain free of charge for a transition period until December 31.
Since the Standing Vaccination Commission (Stiko) has only had a recommendation for this age group since August.
Pupils
will continue to be tested free of charge in schools several times a week.
The student ID is therefore sufficient as evidence for areas to which only convalescent, vaccinated and tested people have access.
Students
in Bavaria can still be tested free of charge until November 30th.
A
corona test is free of charge
for
pregnant women
in the first trimester.
From the second trimester of pregnancy onwards, pregnant women can be tested free of charge until December 31, as the general vaccination recommendation from Stiko for pregnant women has only been in place since September.
For
nursing mothers
are
Corona tests free until December 10th.
Here, too, there is now a vaccination recommendation.
The maternity pass serves as proof.
People who
work in or visit
care facilities and facilities for people with disabilities
can continue to be tested free of charge with authorization certificates from the respective facility.
The tests for all other groups of people will be possible from October 11th in pharmacies that offer tests and in private test centers.
Municipal test centers in the Oberallgäu district and the city of Kempten only offer tests for the above-mentioned exceptional groups.
