Unterhofkirchen - The planning for the Advent window in Taufkirchen and the expansion of the training platform with the sponsoring group Dorfen were the biggest activities of the trade association Taufkirchen, explained chairwoman Christa Scholz at the annual general meeting in the community center "Alte Schule" in Unterhofkirchen.

Otherwise not much was possible in the past year due to Corona. The last annual general meeting could be carried out just before the lockdown. Planning for Advent started in October and had “bombastic ideas”. The advertising also went well. But then, because of the pandemic and the new regulations, you had to cut a piece off every week, so that ultimately only the 24 Advent calendar windows were left at member companies. The whole thing was connected with a competition and raffle and was very well received. Scholz suggested that ideas should be taken up and implemented again this year.

The community founded the Economic Forum, in which the trade association was also a participant, she continued.

A meeting would have already taken place, a regulars' table not yet.

The first is planned for this November, if possible.

Treasurer Christian Kneißl reported on solid finances and six new members, making a total of 81.

The elections were swiftly carried out by acclamation from local councilor Ingrid Kratzer.

The entire board of directors was given their confidence.

Christa Scholz remains chairwoman, her deputy Christian Grimm, treasurer Christian Kneißl and secretary Markus Bauer.

The assessors are also Angelika Paul, Klaus Degener and Sebastian Vaas, the two men were re-elected in absentia.

Petra Müller and Stefan Hofstätter were also confirmed as cash auditors.

Taufkirchen's mayor, Stefan Haberl, was delighted with the "very good exchange" with the trade association. He was well networked on social media, he noted and was happy to see many new faces among the traders. Next week they will meet for the Advent campaign, he announced. He too hopes that more will be possible this year. At least there will be another TaufKirtamarkt next weekend on the south side of the moated castle. He also presented the prototype of the “Taufkirchner Zehners”, a voucher campaign, a kind of regional token that is already available in other municipalities and that can be purchased in the municipality. "The idea is not new, but we could well imagine." His wish is to support regional shopping.

Haberl briefly mentioned the mobility concept, the first community workshop of which took place in September, and that car sharing was recently presented to the public.

He asked those present to support this project and to promote it vigorously.

According to the community chief, the vehicle is ready for use on Rathausplatz and waiting to be moved.

Then there was a lecture by Jochen Saacke, the managing director of the Höhenberger Biokiste.
