Naama (pseudonym) was stunned when she read in Walla! Because the police arrested Prof. Aryeh Levin on suspicion of raping patients, including minors. About twenty years ago, Naama had a shaky experience when, according to her, Prof. Levin raped her when he came to him for treatment at the Maccabi HMO in Rehovot.
"He was our family doctor. His specialization in gastroenterology suited me because I had a gastrointestinal problem." Naama recounted and described the act of rape he committed on her, according to her, and she remembers it to this day. "During the examination and without warning or explanation, Prof. Levin began to insert his fingers aggressively. I was in shock. I have never experienced such an examination."
"It felt like a cold and aggressive act. After the test he went to his desk to type on the computer. He did not look at me directly, even when he was talking. There was something frozen cold and detached as if he were somewhere else. I felt terrible and my body began to shake involuntarily. When I returned home I shared my husband. The feeling was very shaky. A feeling of trembling and anxiety. "

Naama tells in a conversation with Walla! Because she then decided not to remain silent and complained in order to stop Prof. Levin from harming other women.
"I turned to Maccabi in the streets and reported what happened. I was worried that more women would have such a difficult experience. I was called for clarification. I was promised that they would call Prof. Levin for clarification and follow him. They even mentioned to me that another woman had complained about a similar case.
"I continued in my life and it accompanies me to this day. I tried when I turned to Maccabi about twenty years ago to prevent more women from being harmed. I'm really sorry that only now has it been revealed." Says Naama in pain.
Naama contacted the police and although there is a statute of limitations, she intends to testify in the Ayalon area that is investigating the affair.
Maccabi Health Services responded: "Maccabi takes any complaint of sexual harassment very seriously and acts with determination and full cooperation with the law enforcement authorities on the subject.
Prof. Aryeh Levin ended his contract with Maccabi more than six years ago.
An examination of the entire period of the engagement with him shows that no complaint of sexual harassment was received. "
