“Tagesspiegel”: Managing Director Schmidt leaves Hertha BSC

According to a media report, managing director Carsten Schmidt from Hertha BSC will leave the Berlin Bundesliga club after less than a year. As the “Tagesspiegel” reported on Tuesday, the 58-year-old Schmidt is said to have given personal reasons for his surprising step. There was initially no confirmation from the club, sports director Arne Friedrich did not want to comment on the personnel on the sidelines of the training.
