The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded 31 deaths and 846 new infections with the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
Khaled Mujahid, the official spokesman for the ministry, said in a statement that the total number of coronavirus infections in the country has so far reached 313,259, while the total number of deaths has reached 17,726.
Mujahid indicated that 788 people recovered from infection with the Corona virus have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of people recovered to 264,345 people to date.
Yesterday, Egypt recorded 37 deaths and 837 infections with the Corona virus.
