A week ago the Karl-Sittler-Strasse primary school, now the tennis club: Vandals have raged again in Poing.
Now benches have been demolished and overturned.
Poing - Again vandals were on the move in Poing: On the club grounds of the Rot-Weiß tennis club on Endbachweg (across from the community cemetery), three large wooden benches were knocked over and two plastic benches were damaged.
The total damage is estimated at around 800 euros.
The act probably happened in the night from Monday to Tuesday yesterday, reports Dieter Dielmann, 2nd chairman of the tennis club.
“We discovered it in the morning.” Members who played tennis on Monday afternoon until dark had not noticed any damage.
The tennis club has filed a complaint with the police.
The plastic benches were thrown over the terrace and demolished.
Poing: Second case within a week
The benches were on the terrace in front of the club house, which, according to Dielmann, is secured with an alarm system.
"It is always regrettable and shocking that people break something willfully and without sense," says Dieter Dielmann.
In the past, the tennis facility was often the target of vandals.
"Fields of our wooden fence were knocked down several times and completely damaged." Club members had to repair it.

Due to the vandalism in the school garden of the elementary school on Karl-Sittler-Straße (we reported), the tennis club is now also going public with the current case on its premises.
“We were shocked about what happened at school,” says Dieter Dielmann.
A week ago, previously unknown people had devastated three raised beds and a greenhouse that had been created and tended by students.
So far there are no indications of the perpetrators.
Anyone who can provide relevant information about the damage to property on the tennis facility should contact the Poing police station by calling (08121) 9917-0.
