The Al-Asi gin in Hama began receiving the beloved cotton from the farmers of Raqqa.
The director of the gin, engineer Yasser Halabiya, told SANA reporter that more than 140 tons were received by the farmers of Raqqa, where they were collected in the Sabkha center and then delivered to the Al-Asi gin, pointing out that there are batches that will arrive successively from the farmers of Raqqa as the harvest operations continue.
He explained that the received agricultural cottons, the resulting seeds are processed and delivered to the Foundation for Seed Multiplication, especially the Raqa 5 variety, so that the Foundation distributes them to farmers so that they can be replanted, indicating that the gin provides all the necessary facilities for suppliers to receive the crop.
