Justice Minister Gideon Saar said today (Tuesday) that "if there is another leader for the Likud, everything is open."
In an interview with Walla!
At the Jerusalem Post, welcomed the announcement by MK Yuli Edelstein that would run for the Likud leadership opposite party chairman Benjamin Netanyahu, but said that will not break the agreements signed by the current government.
"We in the government on the basis of agreements we signed and we respect them at least every Other parties respect them, "he said." I separate past, present and future.
At the end of the day in politics there is a future, and as for the future - if the Likud has a different leadership, the situation will change and we will certainly not disqualify the Likud.
"The way in which Netanyahu preferred his personal interests to the good of the state and poisoned the political system was one that must be replaced, so many party leaders came to the conclusion that it is not possible to reach an agreement with Netanyahu and reach a partnership."

Saar said Edelstein did not consult with him before the decision.
"We are friends. I appreciate Yuli Edelstein, I would not want to harm him in the Likud," he said.
"As someone who said all the things he said today two years ago, there is great value in what is being said. There is a challenge to the continued moral, moral and political deterioration of the Likud, which will continue as long as Netanyahu continues to lead. The confrontation itself has meaning."
The new hope minister added that he had advised his former party member "not to be afraid, to be prepared for toxic personal slanders that would also be directed at family members, it has already started. But if he announced assumes the fear barrier has dropped and he is ready for all scenarios."
On the law for splitting the Likud, he said that "I am in contact with MKs from the Likud, but I am not currently dealing with the split. Am I committing to forever not engaging in it? No."
"Does not undertake not to engage in the split law."

Later, Saar also referred to the storm of shredding the anonymous complaints of Intelligence Minister Elazar Stern. "I myself was the victim of an anonymous complaint. It was investigated by the Israel Police, three not easy months, and in the end I came out with a statement that not only is there no criminal suspicion - there is no flaw in my conduct. Which requires clarification. "
"I think that Minister Elazar Stern's statement was not correct, it should reflect a serious attitude," he clarified. "Sometimes anonymous complaints are real, and sometimes they disguise attempts to harm self-interested or political elements or within an organization, sometimes they are false complaints. There is no one rule."
He said, "I can not be a judge of allegations made about something that happened decades ago, and Minister Stern denies the things. The agreement on the agency's chairman was reached between the prime minister and the foreign minister, he obliges them.
I had another candidate - former consul Danny Dayan who is at Yad Vashem today, and that is what I have to say on the issue, "he added." I do not want to judge Minister Stern, it is not my job and it is not fair.
He reiterated that he had not done so. "
