November is upon us, and with it plenty of shopping events and promotions • Do you get some order in the variety of ways in which you can buy books nowadays • How does the green character relate to the whole story?

There are a variety of ways to purchase books today, and a wide range of platforms designed for this: physical and online bookstores (the latter of which also include sites for purchasing digital books and books to listen to), direct purchase from authors, value-added crowdfunding projects, social projects like ", The sites of the book publishers, and fairs held by the publishers from time to time.

Various types of promotions (one plus one, second book at a discounted price and more) take place throughout the year, and yet, many prefer to wait and renew the bookshelf during the month of November, which has become a tradition of consumer celebration, due to shopping events like Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Chinese Singles and Shopping AL.

Book promotions and discounts have been at the center of a heated debate for years, one of the focus of which is the controversial Book Law.

In a perfect world, a book would be sold at an affordable price to readers, most of which would go to the writer thus allowing them to make a living from writing, dedicate themselves to it and devote most of their time to it.

In our world, the simple truth is that just as the audience needs the culture, so too does the culture need the audience, and books whose cost is not high, due to one promotion or another, are accessible to a wider number of readers.

Sometimes, books we buy are left on the shelf without us reading them, for various reasons.

Due to the lower "risk" involved in a discounted purchase, promotions are an opportunity to be exposed to different genres and writers we have not yet read.

Instead of going for the familiar and safe, the well-known names and classics, one can try first books, for example.

The same goes for children's and youth books, which are sometimes written in series: it is better to purchase the first book in two or three series and thus introduce the younger generation to different writing styles, different heroes and diverse content worlds, instead of purchasing more books from the same familiar series.

Also, you do not have to buy the newest and most advanced books.

It is precisely among those who are less spoken that we may find a book that will touch our hearts.

In the last year and a half, books have become one of the more accessible cultural platforms for us.

Reading books does not require one character or another and it is done mostly at home, individually, as opposed to shows, plays and movies, which over a period of time have not taken place.

Because of this, it will be interesting to see if in the long run the rise of books in our eyes, or now, as cultural institutions open and cultural events take place (but are not yet accessible to all), reading will be somewhat abandoned in favor of other forms of entertainment and culture.
