The decision was made.
Brooklyn announced today (Tuesday) that Kyrie Irving, the star of the team who refuses to get vaccinated against the Corona bug, will no longer be able to train and play with the team, neither at home nor away.
"Kiri has made a personal choice. And we respect his personal right to vote," the group's official GM Sean Marks said in a statement.
"His decision limits his ability to be a full part of the team and we do not want to allow anyone from the club to be partially available. It is imperative that we continue to build chemistry as a team and remain true to our old values of righteousness and sacrifice."
Now, Irving will have to choose between two options.
One is to be persuaded and get vaccinated, so that he can continue to play basketball (not sure another team will get it) or continue to refuse - and as mentioned - continue to see his teammates only from a distance.
Nets GM Sean Marks says Brooklyn has decided Kyrie Irving may not practice or play with the group until he can be a "full participant."
