In the early morning of today (13th), seawater intrusion occurred in many districts. In Sanjia Village of Lei Yue Mun, the water was knee-deep and floods poured into many shops. With the assistance of the Civil Security Team, some residents had to bring "one bag and two bags" of personal belongings. Evacuate.

In the early hours of the morning, some residents of Sha Tin also noticed that the seawater of the Shing Mun River in Sha Tin was surging on the footpath.

The reporter of "Hong Kong 01" also hit the Xinghua Village. There were constant huge waves hitting the shore, some of which were higher than 4 meters of lamp posts; the waves also rushed to the seashore, and the water depth was once close to the railing.

The water level in Tai O also rose rapidly, approaching the shore.

As the "compass" approached, Hong Kong gradually turned easterly winds, and the tide rose from 2 to 3 am today (13th). The Observatory warned that storm surge and heavy rain may flood low-lying areas.

The Sanjia Village of Lei Yue Mun began to experience flooding at about 10 pm yesterday, and the area around Praya Road and Seafood Street was severely affected.

At 1 o'clock this morning, the flood water was knee deep. Even though flaps were installed in front of the shop, it was still difficult to stop the flooding. As many shops raised their items earlier, no items in the shop were seen to be soaked.

In addition, many plastic boxes in the streets of Sanjia Village also drifted with the water, and a large number of cockroaches also floated on the water.

The Civil Security Team was present at the scene to pat the door regularly to understand the situation of the residents. In the early morning, the flood approached the residential buildings, and some residents had to evacuate overnight.

The seafront of Henghua Village also started to rain heavily, and the seawater was inverted seriously. The seashore was like a beach. The waves hit the shore as deep as the calf, approaching the sluice gate set up in the housing estate, and water seepage began to appear.

As for Tai O, the wind increased significantly towards the early hours of the morning, and the sea level also rose sharply, approaching the shore.

About 10 members of the Civil Security Team patrolled in Tai O to assist residents in raising electrical appliances. Some members and residents estimated that the water level would reach the highest between 1 and 2 am, but residents generally believed that the flooding situation would not be too serious. Not too worried.

In addition to a number of "flooding black spots", various districts also experienced backflow. Among them, the water level of the Shing Mun River in Sha Tin rose sharply, and the riverside tunnel was flooded. It is estimated that the water was as deep as the toes.
