【23:42】強烈熱帶風暴「圓規」逼近,天文台今日(11日)預告,圓規於周三(13日)初時最接近本港,屆時或需要改發8號風球。雖然風球未至,不過市民已做好準備,不少網民反映各區超市及街市均被搶購一空,蔬菜、麵包及即食麵的貨架已空空如也。有網民笑言,情況「似打仗多過打風」。

在荃灣多間超市亦出現同樣情況,有市民指因上周六(9日)熱帶氣旋「獅子山」「突襲」下未有充足準備食糧,須冒風雨離家尋找仍開業的餐廳,故今次提早購買即食麵等,「買定就唔使出街」。

【22:55】強烈季候風信號現正生效。天文台指在季候風及熱帶氣旋圓規的共同影響下,預料本港吹偏北強風,平均風速每小時超過40公里。陣風間中達烈風程度。

在晚上10時30分的過去一小時,橫瀾島錄得的最高持續風速為每小時67公里,最高陣風為每小時79公里。

【21:51】上周五(8日)跑馬地樂活道一宗竹棚架倒塌的意外導致一名女工死亡,熱帶氣旋圓規來勢洶洶,猶如獅子山2.0。勞工處今日(11日)即呼籲建築地盤的承建商在惡劣天氣下提高警覺,立刻採取適當工作安排及所需的安全措施,以確保工人的工作安全。發言人指,承建商須參考《颱風及暴雨情況下工作守則》和《惡劣天氣下的工作安全指南》,盡量避免委派工人在受惡劣天氣影響的地方進行戶外建築工程,尤其是棚架工程及起重機操作。

【20:20】天文台在今日(11日)上午9時半已發出特別天氣提示,預告熱帶氣旋「圓規」會在今日橫過呂宋海峽,晚間進入香港800公里範圍內,屆時天文台會發出熱帶氣旋警告信號。在「圓規」與東北季候風的共同影響下,華南沿岸風勢在未來一兩日會逐漸增強。隨著「圓規」橫過南海北部及靠近本港,本港明日(12日)稍後天氣轉壞,風力會進一步增強,預料會在周三(13日)初時最接近本港,在本港以南約400公里掠過,本港部分地區風力可能會達烈風程度,廣泛地區亦可能有暴雨及狂風。

在晚上8時,強烈熱帶風暴圓規集結在馬尼拉以北約470公里,預料向西移動,時速約25公里,橫過呂宋海峽一帶。

澳門地球物理暨氣象局在晚上8時發出一號風球,料將在晚間維持;預計明日凌晨至早上發出3號風球的可能性為「高」,明晚至後日清晨發出8號風球的可能性「較高」。

該局預料圓規周二至周三將繼續增強,並快速橫過南海北部,在周三初時最接近澳門,在澳門以南約400公里範圍內掠過,大致趨向海南島。在圓規與東北季風共同影響下,未來兩日澳門天氣轉趨不穩定,風力顯著增強及有雷雨,最大風力有機會達8級;受風暴潮叠加天文潮影響,未來兩日低窪地區有機會出現約0.5米水浸。

圓規風球|教育局發信:家長可應天氣決定子女上學 學校酌情處理

【18:00】繼熱帶氣旋獅子山上周「突襲」後,另一熱帶氣旋「圓規」亦蓄勢待襲。有鑑於上周五(9日)上學及放學時間傾盆大雨,不少學生變「落湯雞」,教育局今日(11日)向家長發文,提及惡劣天氣下的上學安排。文中指,局部地區情況或與全港整體情況不同,甚至出現突發事件,須按當時情況靈活處理,強調教育局通告說明,家長可因應天氣情況,自行決定應否讓子女上學,如區內天氣、道路、斜坡或交通情況惡劣,為保障子女安全,家長應讓其留在家中。對於受惡劣天氣或水浸影響,而遲到或由家長決定於當日缺課的學生,學校會酌情處理,不會處分。

【17:30】風再起了!帶來8號風球的獅子山走後,強烈熱帶風暴「圓規」亦來勢洶洶。天文台今午(11日)4時發出強烈季候風信號,本港正吹強風,平均風速每小時超過40公里 ,風力等同3號風球。天文台高級科學主任李子祥下午在記者會更預告,當圓規今晚進入香港800公里範圍,天文台會如獅子山來襲一樣,直接發出3號風球取代強烈季候風信號,而明日至周三初時風力會進一步增強,周三部分地區或吹烈風,天文台當日可能會發出8號風球。

台長鄭楚明在今日的記者會上表示,圓規與獅子山一樣是「秋颱」,,華南地區受東北季候風影響,當有熱帶氣旋在南海,兩者共同效應,令風力增加;當圓規接近香港南面時,相關雨帶會移近珠江口,風勢繼續增強,風力最大時間,預計周二後期至周三初期,最後視乎路徑有否變化。
