The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) gave the value of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants and week on Tuesday morning as 65.8.
For comparison: the day before, the corona incidence value was 66.5, a week ago it was 63.6 (previous month: 80.2).
The health authorities in Germany reported 4971 new infections with Corona * to the RKI within one day.

The number of corona patients admitted to clinics per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days - the most important parameter for a possible tightening of the corona restrictions - was given by the RKI on Monday as 1.58 (Friday: 1.67).
A nationwide threshold, from when the situation can be viewed critically, is not provided for the corona hospitalization incidence * due to large regional differences, among other things.
The previous high was around 15.5 around Christmas time.
The RKI stated the number of people recovered in Germany at 4,106,300.
The number of people who died with or with a proven infection with Sars-CoV-2 rose to 94,297.
