Corona incidence in Thuringia at 97.1

The seven-day incidence in Thuringia is approaching the 100 mark. The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reported 97.1 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in one week on Tuesday morning, the day before it was 96.1 (seven-day incidence). This means that the Free State remains the state with the highest corona incidence after Bremen. The nationwide seven-day incidence on Tuesday was 65.8.

Erfurt - Within one day, the health authorities in the Free State reported 252 new infections and four deaths related to Covid-19.

There are big regional differences.

The Kyffhäuserkreis (187.7) had the highest incidence among rural districts and urban districts in Thuringia.

The lowest value was unchanged in the Sonneberg district (26.3).
