The Düsseldorfer EG from the German Ice Hockey League has extended the contracts with managing director Harald Wirtz and sports director Niki Mondt.
Wirtz signed a new contract until the end of the 2022/2023 season, Mondt extended it early until spring 2024. The eight-time German champion announced on Tuesday.
Düsseldorf - Wirtz was initially a sponsor of DEG for many years and became managing director a year ago.
Ex-national player Mondt is one of currently six players who have played more than 1000 DEL games in their active career.
The 42-year-old was German champion with DEG in 1996 and the Hannover Scorpions in 2010.
He has been the sporting director of his home club since 2017.
