A song by the Cologne rapper Eko Fresh made it into a school book.
The text of the title “The guest worker”, which deals with his origin, has therefore been printed in a reader (“He wants us to have a better life because the reasons for the move were definitely not due to the weather”).
Eko Fresh was happy to announce the publication on Monday via his Facebook account.
Cologne - The native of Cologne wrote: "Grandpa, that was for you!"
The family of Eko Fresh, whose real name is Ekrem Bora, comes from Turkey.
His mother has Kurdish roots, his father came to Germany as a political refugee in 1980, as it says in the print in the school book.
