The place.
When the original Krügen crêperie took over, two friends with solid CVs, Tiphaine (la Savoyarde) and Romain (le Béarnais), decided to combine their original terroirs in a refined but welcoming bistro (tables and chairs in light wood, night blue benches and counter).
Warm service as we like it.
The brunch.
Self-proclaimed “à la française”, served in stoneware dishes for the best effect, it starts with a soft pancake with spread and jam (homemade!), Followed by an egg (scrambled with porcini mushrooms with garlic toast or poached à la lobster bisque).
Then place in the hot dish of your choice: pormonier (Savoyard sausage smoked with herbs and cabbage) and polenta gratinated with tomme;
one-sided Pyrenean trout, sweet potato and herb mayo;
vegetarian stew and gnocchi sautéed in Beaufort (ideal for the day after cooking).
To finish, a small fruit salad and a pastis (Landaise brioche) like French toast and salted butter caramel (demonic) or a cream
