Fire alarm in the asylum seeker accommodation in Grub (municipality of Poing): There was heavy smoke in one of the residential containers on Monday evening.
The fire brigade quickly found the cause.
In a container at the collective accommodation for asylum seekers in Grub, there was heavy smoke development on Monday evening at around 10:45 p.m.
This was reported to the integrated control center in Erding.
A patrol crew from the Poing police evacuated the container, in which there were nine residents, and the Poing volunteer fire brigade checked the situation.
Result: someone had forgotten a saucepan and its contents on a hotplate that was switched on.
This had led to heavy smoke.
After the living container had been thoroughly ventilated, the residents were able to return, reports the Poing police station.
Nobody got hurt.
