A leashed hunting dog inflicted a heavily bleeding bite wound on the forearm of a boy in Herbolzheim (Emmendingen district).
According to the police, the six-year-old child came to a specialist clinic on Monday after the incident, but was able to leave it on the same day.
The animal is a hunting dog of the Weimaraner breed.
