A hurricane named Pamela was approaching Tuesday, October 12, the Pacific coast of Mexico (west) where it could make landfall on Wednesday, the United States National Hurricane Center (NHC) said.

At midday, the hurricane was 345 km off the Mexican peninsula of Baja California, with winds of 130 km / h.
