The Iranian Ministry of Intelligence announced today (Tuesday) that its forces have captured ten spy suspects for foreign intelligence agencies of regional states in the city of Bushehr, where a central nuclear facility is located.
Bushehr is home to a nuclear power plant that began operating in 2010.
On June 20 this year it was abruptly shut down.
It was initially claimed to be "maintenance work that would last for several days", but it lasted longer.
Earlier, in July last year, seven ships caught fire in a major fire that took place in the port of Bushehr, the second largest civilian port in Iran.
The fire reportedly started in a shipyard near the main port facilities on the northern canopy of the port city.
