It's not over yet: Countries where there is an increase in morbidity | Israel today

2021-10-12T10:22:10.773Z

The world is opening up, but there are still quite a few countries that are facing an increase in morbidity.

The decline in morbidity in Israel and in many countries around the world, along with the widespread opening of borders in many countries around the world, gives a sense of the end of the corona, but in practice there are quite a few countries that are experiencing another wave of morbidity.

In Ukraine there has been an increase in morbidity in recent weeks with numbers reaching almost those who saw there at the height of the plague.

The average number of infected in the country is more than 13 verified per day, while at the end of August the numbers were about 1,700 verified on average per day.

In the UK, more than 39,000 verified patients were diagnosed yesterday, and there has also been a consistent increase in morbidity in recent weeks.

Despite this, all the attractions and activities in the country are open almost without restrictions.

Another country that is experiencing a wave of serious illness these days is Romania.

Morbidity rates in Romania are the highest since the beginning of the corona period with new records being broken in the country’s infectious numbers.

The average number of infections in Romania today stands at more than 13,000 per day and in the country they have started imposing relatively light restrictions in various restaurants and activities, most of the restrictions have almost no effect on vaccinated people.

Bulgaria, which opened to Israelis only at the beginning of the week, is also experiencing an increase in morbidity and is one of the countries with the lowest immunization rates in Europe with only about 15% vaccinated.

Yesterday, about 3,500 verified people were diagnosed in Bulgaria, while in August the numbers averaged only about 200 verified people per day and since then, the increase in the number of verified people in the country has been consistent.

The daily number of verified in Turkey has crossed the threshold of 30,000 infected per day, a record since April this year.

Singapore is also experiencing a dramatic increase in morbidity with unrecorded records since the onset of the epidemic, with an average daily infection rate now standing at about 3,300.

Verified average daily records are also recorded in Serbia with numbers hovering around 7,000 verified daily, numbers similar to those recorded there at the peak of the epidemic in December 2020. Other countries with an increase in morbidity, although not yet significant, are Hungary, Georgia, the Czech Republic and Croatia.
