A man smuggled ten antique swords from Switzerland to Germany and wanted to send them on.
Customs officials discovered the historical collector's items worth 2500 euros in a Konstanz parcel shop, as the main customs office announced on Tuesday.
The 68-year-old accused awaits criminal tax proceedings.
He had to pay appraisal costs and import duties totaling 1000 euros as well as 1000 euros security deposit for the expected fine.
