Lufthansa shows humor: at Munich Airport, the airline made not only visitors to the terminal laugh with one of its announcements.
The gag also went viral on the Internet.
Munich - Who does not know the electronic announcements at the airport that call visitors to the last flight?
Such announcements are probably nothing special for frequent flyers, but with a particularly humorous announcement, Lufthansa recently conjured a smile on the faces of not only some people at the terminal, but also many Internet users.
Munich Airport: Funny announcement from Lufthansa causes a lot of laughs
Passenger Tobias Schrödel was so enthusiastic about the call for the last flight to Toulouse on October 10th that he made a video recording of the funny announcement and sent it to the world on Twitter.
The tweeted video has already been viewed over 59,475 times.
You can see a display at Munich Airport, which shows the flight number "LH 2222" and the destination Toulouse.
This is followed by the announcement in English: "This is the last call for your Lufthansa Starlines Flight LH two two two two to Toulouse".
Two Two Two Two to Tou-lou-se.
I bet that someone at @Lufthansa_DE deliberately missed exactly this flight number on the flight from Munich to Toulouse!
Great!
Sound on!

The bizarre-sounding juxtaposition of the many "two" s and "to" s not only caused laughter on the terminal, but also went viral on the Internet.
This is not the first such humorous announcement from Lufthansa.
Recordings of the funny announcement can also be found on YouTube and other social media channels - and have been for years.
The last call to fly to Toulouse in France has long been a running gag at Lufthansa, which over the years has repeatedly made listeners smile and laughs online.
Munich Airport: It was not the first time that Lufthansa caused a laugh with its announcement
Not only Tobias Schrödel suspects that the choice of the flight number to Toulouse could be an intention of Lufthansa.
In fact, there seems to be something to the theory: According to
Focus Online,
the assignment of flight numbers at Lufthansa follows a certain structure.
A spokesman for Lufthansa told
Focus Online
that, for example, aircraft with numbers in the 400 range usually fly to North America and flight numbers with 500 numbers are intended for trips to South America or Africa.
