After an accident on federal highway 13 on Tuesday morning, the police are looking for witnesses.
The accident was preceded by an overtaking maneuver in oncoming traffic.
Gaißach - According to the officials, a 29-year-old woman from Lenggries drove on Tuesday around 6 a.m. with her Kia on the B 13 coming from Lenggries in the direction of Bad Tölz.
Car in oncoming traffic overtakes trucks - Kia driver has to brake
At the level of the Lexen district, a truck came towards her, which in turn was overtaken by a car at this point.
The Kia driver braked heavily on the wet road to avoid a collision.
As a result, the overtaking car made it back into its own lane in good time.
However, due to the heavy braking, the Kia skid and came off the road to the left after the truck and the overtaking car had passed.
Lenggrieserin luckily remains unharmed
There was no contact between the vehicles.
The Kia came to a halt in the bushes on the west side about twelve meters from the road.
Fortunately, the Lenggrieserin was not injured.
The injured party could not say whether the truck and the passing car even noticed the accident.
In any case, the two vehicles drove on without stopping.
Police asked witnesses to report
The Kia had to be recovered by a tow company.
The resulting property damage to the vehicle amounts to around 150 euros.
