Idan Mikhalov, 21, of Ofakim, is suspected of distributing revealing photos of Israeli women and minors in the telegram, the publication was allowed today (Tuesday).
According to the suspicion, Mikhalov set up various groups on the Internet and published the photos for a fee.
The suspect linked himself to the acts, but claimed that he did not take the photos, but only distributed them, among other things for a monetary payment.
Advocate Rotem Sri, Mikhalov's defense attorney, raised questions about the suspect's awareness that he was a minor and petitioned for his release. However, Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court Judge Christina Hilu Assad decided to extend the suspect's detention by three days.
"I took into account that this is a young man, with no criminal record of any kind," the judge noted.
"On the other hand, the request of the investigating unit to extend his detention is proportionate and reasonable, and in light of the fear of disruption, I did not find it appropriate to order his release."
