Large police forces from the Northern District, accompanied by a helicopter, today (Tuesday) chased two vehicles after a call was received at Hotline 100 that a Galilee resident who was hiding in a shelter for battered women was abducted by her two brothers who apparently planned to harm her.
After a stormy chase, the woman was found in one of the two vehicles stopped by police near the Turan Interchange, agitated and crying.
The second vehicle that took part in the abduction was stopped near Marr.
Police seized two of the woman's brothers and two other suspects who were armed with M-16 Aryspot weapons and a handgun.
