The federal police arrested a criminal who had been wanted for four years in a coach in Trier on Tuesday.
The police announced on Tuesday that there was an arrest warrant against the 48-year-old for falsification of documents.
He had therefore shown a forged French residence permit and driver's license at a police check on a train in 2017 in order to avoid a fine imposed on him.
Trier - After the 48-year-old paid the outstanding fine on Tuesday, he was able to continue his journey.
Otherwise he would have expected a 52-day prison sentence.
