Police officers found more than 5,000 euros in a rucksack forgotten on a regional express train.
The piece of luggage was discovered by train attendants on the route between Düsseldorf and Hamm, the police reported on Tuesday.
It was handed over to officials on Friday.
"To the astonishment of the police officers, in addition to various private items with references to the owner, over 5000 euros were found."
Hamm / Düsseldorf - Fortunately, they managed to contact the owner by phone.
At the Federal Police Inspection in Münster, the woman gratefully received her backpack.
