President Lieutenant-General Bashar al-Assad, Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, issued an administrative order to end the retention and call-up of reserve officers, and the description of officers and reserve personnel starting from 1-12-2021, according to the following:
Officers (retained and enlisted in the reserve service) whose actual reserve service reached two years or more until 10-30-2021 inclusive.
Human physicians specialized in the management of medical services, whose actual reserve service reached two years or more, until 10-30-2021 inclusive, and are dismissed according to the possibility of dispensing with their services.
- Non-commissioned officers and individuals (retained and enrolled in the reserve service) whose actual reserve service reached no less than seven and a half years until 10-30-2021 inclusive.
