Unterallgäu - Many carnival clubs and gardens from the district have been waiting for this first glimmer of hope: Last week, Mindelonia gave the starting signal for the move on Gumpigen Thursday.
Whether the colorful worm will be able to move through Mindelheim's old town as planned on February 24th from 2:14 p.m. is not yet final.
Mindelonia has recently caused many bright eyes on its Facebook page.
Quickly come up with a motto, get the moving van ready to go and register, this is the appeal of the moving organizers to the associations and gardens in the region.
It is not yet certain whether the move can actually take place.
"We have now issued the invitations with reservations, because otherwise the time will be too short," explains moving manager and Mindelonia President Alex Drahotta when asked by Wochen KURIERS.
In addition to the corona requirements, which had to be seen, discussions would also have to be held with the public order office.
“If in doubt, we just have to cancel,” said Drahotta.
However, there is currently hope that the move will return to Mindelheim after a year of abstinence.
