Elfriede Selmer from Neubiberg has been missing her mixed breed poodle dog Seli for four weeks.
After a loud bang, the dog ran away in a panic.
The 89-year-old has been desperately looking for her ever since.
Elfriede Selmer looks sadly at her empty armchair.
“Seli always sat there and waited for my subtenant to come home from work,” says the 89-year-old.
The joy was huge when the bitch saw the familiar resident.
But this beautiful ritual no longer exists - it has become quiet in the house.
Elfriede Selmer is crying.
Your beloved Seli is gone - the black, fluffy poodle mix disappeared almost four weeks ago without a trace.

It happened on September 14th, says the Neubibergerin. “Like every day, my lodger went for a walk with Seli. I'm not that good on my feet anymore. ”Not in Neubiberg, but in Höhenkirchen, where the subtenant, Marjana Matanic, has an allotment garden on Ostersteigstrasse. Matanic and the dog were there on the fateful day when suddenly there was a loud bang from the neighboring fire station. Seli was shocked - "She ran away like a rocket," says Selmer. Matanic immediately followed. But she had no chance: “It's a rural area. There are fields and forests everywhere, ”says Matanic. After walking the paths for hours, she finally gave up. "But I come to Höhenkirchen every day and keep looking." To find Seli again, the women put up 300 posters in Höhenkirchen. Search ads run on social networks, eBay classifieds and animal welfare organizations. They even asked a search dog center for help - trained dogs used Seli's blanket to track them down. "But their track was soon lost," says Selmer.
The women do not believe that Seli is no longer alive.
“She was last seen on Egmatinger Strasse,” says Matanic.
Because the 13-year-old bitch sees and hears badly, she is very shy.
“We are sure that she hid somewhere in the forest,” says Matanic.
Tomorrow, too, she will drive to Höhenkirchen again and search the paths.
"We owe that to Seli."
