The health authorities in Russia announced the registration of 28,190 new infections with the emerging coronavirus during the past 24 hours, in 85 regions, including 4,699 cases in the capital, Moscow.
The operations room for combating the outbreak of the Covid 19 epidemic indicated in its daily report that this number shows a slight decrease in the number of new infections compared to the data of the past ten days, pointing out that 973 deaths occurred during the last night, while 20,706 people recovered from the disease.
The room added that the total number of cases of the epidemic in Russia reached 7,832,964, of whom 218,345 died, and 6,894,285 people recovered.
Yesterday, Russia recorded 29,409 infections and 957 deaths from the Corona virus.
