Senior Health Ministry official on green class pilot: "It looks good - we will need a few more days to present summaries" | Israel today

A senior Ministry of Health official who spoke today (Tuesday) with "Israel Today" referred to the "Green Class" pilot that began operating in schools across the country earlier this week and said: "It looks good, but it takes another two or three days to sum it up properly."

In addition, the senior official referred to the expansion of the new outline of the ministries of health and education, which began operating on Sunday this week according to the traffic light program in 127 green authorities, and said that "on Monday there will be a discussion with the prime minister, the data will be presented."

At the same time, the senior official claimed that the claims of Ron Huldai, the mayor of Tel Aviv, regarding the delay in expanding the pilot to the kindergartens were also "unfamiliar."

On the other hand, Huldai said that "the bureaucracy has won the creativity. Unfortunately and despite our desire to start the outline of the green class tomorrow and the distribution of antigen tests in the city's kindergartens as well - the Ministry of Health does not allow us to do so.

At the same time, the fight against the corona virus continues, and this afternoon 2.5 million antigen test kits landed in Israel, purchased by the Control Center (UAV) at the Ministry of Health, following a directive from Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.

An additional 4.7 million test kits will arrive in Israel tomorrow.

These assessments will be used to examine students in the education system, with the aim of realizing the outline of green classrooms and enabling the continuation of the routine of life for parents, students and the Israeli economy.

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett will comment on the efforts to bring the tests, saying: "We do everything to keep the economy open, the education system functioning and the routine of life as a series. The number of carriers in the country stands at 25,127, of whom 427 are in critical condition and 187 are respirated.

In fact, this is the lowest number of serious patients since August 11 this year.

The death toll from the plague stands at 7,940 people, four of whom died yesterday.

The coefficient of infection is 0.72.
