Migrants in Necoclí ask for humanitarian corridor 3:17

This Monday, the Colombian Ombudsman's Office reported through a statement that a shipwreck occurred in the Acandí district, in the department of Chocó, leaving three dead and one child under eight months missing. .
The Ombudsman's Office added that the boat would have left Necoclí, Antioquia, and was destined for the San Blas archipelago in Panama.
The authorities added that they still do not have an exact number of people who have been rescued alive and, according to information that the community in the area has given to the authorities, the boat was carrying about 30 people in excess.

"We regret the events that occurred around dawn this Monday and we call on local, departmental and national authorities to address the situation of these people, who, given the lack of opportunities to access tickets in transit through Colombia, they opt for these clandestine boats that are illegal and that represent an imminent risk ”, said the Ombudsman, Carlos Camargo.
So far the authorities have not reported the nationality of the castaways.
