In February 2020, just before the Corona broke out, Meshi Kleinstein (29) managed to release her first single "Only Yesterday You Were Here".
Now, a year and a half later, she is releasing another single, "Quiet", which she wrote and composed together with Elnatan Shalom (in a musical production by Gilad Shmueli).
"I did not have a cohesive program of a series of singles," says Kleinstein.
"My way is a little different because I do at the same time more full of things I love. I had fun and pleasant to feel how the first single is received on the radio and playlist and how people react to it, and it made me want to spend more, but just got the corona and there are other things I do. Delayed. "
"The Other Things She Does" includes a lead role in the musical "Zero in Human Relations" at Beit Lessin;
Direction of the children's program "Nice Butterfly" version 2021, which came up here 11;
A role in Avi Nesher's new film, "The Picture of Victory," for which she was nominated for an Ophir Award in the supporting actress category;
And leading advertising campaigns.
"I came to the 'victory picture' after I was photographed for the 'Bat El HaTvula' series (which is based on the American series 'The Virgin Jane'; MK), which means it was my second filmed project in my life," says Kleinstein. Eagle, so it was crazy for me just to be accepted.
I feel it's a huge achievement for me, and being nominated for the Ophir Award is something I never dreamed of.

Did you miss the theater throughout the Corona period?
"Going back to the theater after this year and meeting the audience just blew my heart. I have no way to describe it otherwise. To see people laughing under the mask, to hear applause, to talk to them after the show - there is no substitute. "But empty, and it was so weird this quiet. Right now we show up with 'Zero in Human Relations' almost every day."
Tell me a little about the new "Nice Butterfly".
"I think the amazing creators made very precise castings (together with Kleinstein directing the show Uri Banai, Esther Rada and Ben Yossifovich; MK), and the result is something that is not childish and speaks at the height of the children's eyes.
That's the secret - do not play it anything else.
I did not watch the original show as a child, I am a Disney girl, I only saw Disney.
"There was a fear of disappointing, of hurting something that is a classic, but I get such good responses and it's very happy."
Is it possible to say congratulations on the engagements with the provision of expectations?
"Thank you very much, it's really very happy. There's no date yet. Matan is not from the stage field. It's terribly nice to be the only one in the field at home. I highly recommend" (laughs).
And if you are already a family, is there any thought of close collaborations with mother Rita, father Remi or your sister Noam?
"It seems to me that right now there is a very strong family collaboration of mom and dad," she laughs, referring to the joint show of Rami and Rita currently running in the country.
"Beyond that we did not think of anything in particular, but never say never."
