Al-Qamishli-SANA
The throats of six poets from Al-Hasakah Governorate resonated with the launch of the activities of the Autumn Poetry Festival in varied and rich poetic colors and templates at the Arab Cultural Center in Qamishli today.
The poems of the participating poets “Hawas Al-Ali, Munir Khalaf, Abdul Salam Al-Abousi, Ibrahim Al-Mar’i, Ahmed Howaish and Faiza Al-Qadri” came from the inspiration of the issues of the homeland and love and sang about the land and soil of Syria.
Regarding the festival, which is organized by the Directorate of Culture, in cooperation with the Safsaf Al-Khabour Cultural Association and the branch of the Arab Writers Union, Faiza Al-Qadri, head of the Qamishli cultural center, said in a statement to SANA reporter that this three-day event includes cultural figures in Al-Hasakah province, from poets to a group of cultural audiences in the city.
In turn, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Safsaf Al-Khabour Cultural Association, Ahmed Al-Hussein, pointed out that poetry is a specialty in the province of Al-Hasakah because it is linked to the province's rich heritage.
