Hama-Sana
The branch of the Foundation for Seed Propagation in Hama received 6 thousand tons of wheat seed for the branches of the Agricultural Bank to cover the needs of farmers in the next agricultural season.
The director of the branch, Engineer Abdul-Ghani Al-Aswad, told SANA reporter that the branch shipped about 2,500 tons of wheat seed to other governorates, and that it was preparing to sell wheat seed to farmers and multiply contracts.
Al-Aswad confirmed the readiness of the branch to cover the needs of farmers in the various regions of the governorate, adding that the quantities of sifted and sterilized wheat seeds amounted to 12,000 tons, knowing that the sifting and sterilization operations are carried out by the main sifter in Kafrhum, with a production capacity of 150 tons per day, and the mobile agricultural mechanization sifter with a capacity of 50 tons of seed per day.
