Is the adoption law a new Trojan horse for surrogacy?
This is in any case the fear expressed by the Manif for all before the examination in committee, this Wednesday, of the bill on the reform of adoption in the Senate.
The main proposal of the text is to open the adoption - today reserved for married couples and single people - to couples bound by a civil partnership and to cohabiting partners.

While the number of approvals for adoption is much greater than the number of adoptable children, the Manif pour tous judges that
“increasing the number of couples who could adopt would therefore be an aberration ... 'unconditional adoption would allow the spouse of the biological father of a child born to surrogacy abroad to be recognized as the parent of the child as well ”
