The fight in Corona:
The Vaccine Advisory Committee held hearings today (Tuesday) and decided not to broadcast the committee's deliberations live - as was done in the FDA Advisory Committee.
There seems to be a deadlock on this issue, with committee members believing the publication of the minutes (today, a week after the hearing) is "proper transparency."
Another recommendation presented at the discussion was to set up exceptional committees in the health funds that will provide an answer to individual cases that go beyond the vaccination briefing, including a computerized response in favor of a green label.
With regard to astrazena vaccines, the recommendation was made to give it on medical indications and to examine further the administration of the vaccine to those who for some personal reason refuse to be vaccinated with mRNA vaccines.
At the same time, the Ministry of Health this evening published the situation regarding the spread of the corona virus in Israel as of 5:45 PM, which shows that today 1,179 new carriers were identified in Israel, which constitutes 1.87 percent of the 64,180 new tests performed.
The number of active carriers today stands at 24,018 people, of whom 413 are in critical condition of whom 177 are respirators.
The number of severe patients is equivalent to the number that was on August 11 before the peak of the wave.
The coefficient of adhesion (R) is 0.72.
As of the time of writing, the number of deaths as a result of the virus is 7,947, with one person dying from the disease today and 10 people dying in Israel yesterday.
The green class
A senior Ministry of Health official who spoke to Israel Today today referred to the green class pilot that began operating in schools across the country earlier this week and said: "It looks good, but it takes another two or three days to sum it up properly."
In addition, the senior official referred to the expansion of the new outline of the ministries of health and education, which began operating on Sunday this week according to the traffic light program in 127 green authorities, and said that "on Monday there will be a discussion with the prime minister, the data will be presented."
